Denny’s- Calgary

Well, my birthday weekend is over, and it was a doozy. So much fun, so little time. On Saturday night we went and saw The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, and although I tend to think that 3D is basically a big money grab, I will admit, it was worth the extra money this time around. Being as we just saw the movie, after church on Sunday we headed over to Denny’s for the new Hobbit inspired menu. Did I order off of it, yup I sure did. I had Bilbo’s breakfast feast, which included Honey Cake French Toast (delicious), plus scrambled eggs with spinach, mushrooms and cheese, shredded hash browns (a personal favorite) and a hearty sausage. I couldn’t eat it all, but enjoyed every single bite that I did. The picture below is my daughter’s Spaghetti and Meatballs, that she ordered off of the adult menu. 2 out of 3 kids now ordering off adult menus, times are changing in this house! Anyways, go to Denny’s so you can eat like a Hobbit, because it’s only for a limited time!
